Prison monitors call for an urgent decision on HMP Dartmoor’s future

The Independent Monitoring Board (IMB) for Dartmoor prison has today (4 December) published its latest annual report. It outlines the length of time it took the Prison Service to reach the decision to close the prison after levels of Radon gas were found to be high in all areas, and the effect that this long period of indecision had on prisoners.
