The 2021-22 annual report for North and Midlands STHF is now published.

In its annual report for 2021, the Yarl’s Wood IMB notes the many challenges due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the additional pressure of re-purposing the centre to hold men, and the arrival of large numbers of detained people for short periods of time.

People who are denied entry to the UK and then detained at airports are routinely denied access to their prescribed medication, because there is no medical professional available to authorise this.
